Your First Days at Home in Hull
Hull and East Yorkshire have a distinctive domestic character — from the Victorian terraces of Newland and Anlaby Road to the Georgian townhouses of Beverley and the broad farmhouses of the East Riding. Each has its own quality of light, its own scale, its own particular atmosphere. That is where your baby's first days are happening, and that is where I photograph them.
I come to your home within the first two weeks of your baby's life and work for two to three hours with the natural light available. No studio, no complicated kit, no distance from the place you've prepared for your new arrival. The images it produces are documentary in the fullest sense: your baby, your family, your home, your beginning.

When should I book a newborn session in Hull?+
Book during pregnancy — ideally in the second trimester — to secure a date in your due-date window. Newborn sessions are best between 5 and 14 days after birth. I keep a flexible schedule to accommodate early or late arrivals.
Do you travel to Beverley, Cottingham, and the East Riding?+
Yes — I cover the whole of East Yorkshire including Beverley, Cottingham, Brough, Goole, Driffield, and the East Riding countryside. Travel within 25 miles of Hull is included in the session fee.
What makes Hull homes good for newborn photography?+
Hull's housing stock has real character: Victorian terraces in Newland and Anlaby Road have large sash windows that give beautiful north or east light; Georgian townhouses in Beverley have the proportions that work naturally in photographs. I work with whatever light your home has — east-facing rooms for morning sessions, west-facing for afternoon.
Do you photograph the whole family?+
Yes — sibling and family portraits are always included. The most moving newborn images often feature the whole family together, and I always create time and space for these naturally during the session.
How are the images delivered?+
Via private online gallery, typically within 5–14 days. All images are fully edited and delivered in both web and print resolution. You can download directly from the gallery.
