Sheffield is a city of remarkable domestic architecture — Victorian and Edwardian stone terraces in Nether Edge, Ecclesall, Crookes, and Walkley, with large sash windows that admit beautiful directional light. Beyond the inner suburbs, the Peak District edge begins within minutes, and the stone cottages of Hathersage, Hope, and Bamford have an entirely different, wilder character suited to newborn portraits with real depth.
I come to your Sheffield home within the first two weeks of your baby's life. Two to three hours, natural light, no equipment beyond my camera. Feeds, sleeps, cuddles, and the particular quietness of the first days — these are the photographs families keep for generations.

Book during pregnancy to secure a date in your due-date window. Newborn lifestyle sessions work best between 5 and 14 days after birth when babies are naturally sleepy and settle well. I hold provisional dates and confirm once your baby has arrived.
Do you travel to Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, and surrounding areas?+
Yes — I cover Sheffield and the whole of South Yorkshire including Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Chesterfield, and into North Derbyshire and the Peak District edge. Travel within 25 miles of Sheffield is included in the session fee.

Sheffield has extraordinary domestic architecture for natural-light newborn photography. The Victorian and Edwardian stone terraces of Nether Edge, Ecclesall, Crookes, and Walkley have large sash windows and good room proportions. The semi-detached suburbs of Millhouses and Totley have generous bay windows and light-filled rooms. Stone cottages in the Peak District edge villages just outside Sheffield have a completely different, rural character. I work with the natural light in any home.
Are siblings and family portraits included?+
Yes — always. Sibling portraits are among the most requested and most treasured images from any newborn session. I photograph the whole family naturally throughout the session.
What format are the images delivered in?+
Via private online gallery within 5–14 days. Both high-resolution print files and web files are included. You can download, share, and print directly from the gallery.
