A well-chosen pub has everything a couple could want: character (genuine, not manufactured), informality, community spirit, good food and drink at reasonable prices, and the relaxed atmosphere that comes from a space built for sociability rather than spectacle.

Pub weddings are some of the most genuinely joyful days I document. The format — ceremony nearby or at the registrar, then straight to the pub — keeps everything simple and focused on what matters: people together, celebrating freely. The photography reflects that.
