The Gower Peninsula is Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty — an extraordinary coastline of limestone headlands, sweeping bays, ancient dune systems, and Atlantic clifftop views. Family photographs taken here are genuinely unlike those taken anywhere else in the UK. Three Cliffs Bay, with its limestone arch over golden sand, Rhossili's dramatic headland, and the sheltered charm of Caswell Bay all provide settings that make for powerful, beautiful family portraits.
I work with families across Swansea and the Gower to create relaxed, natural portraits that capture both the landscape and the unscripted love and energy of your family. No stiff poses — just the real connection between the people who matter most, in one of Wales's most spectacular settings.

Late spring brings wildflowers and dune sea-pinks on the Gower clifftops. Summer gives long golden evenings at Three Cliffs and Rhossili. Autumn has beautiful warm light on the Gower limestone and wide, clear views. Winter can be dramatic and spectacular, especially at Rhossili when Atlantic storms bring wild skies. All seasons work — I help you choose based on your family's ages and temperaments.
Yes — with appropriate planning. Caswell Bay and Oxwich Bay car parks are very close to the beaches. Mumbles promenade is completely flat and pushchair-friendly. Three Cliffs Bay is a short walk from the Southgate car park across easy dune paths. I'll help you choose locations that fit your children's ages and abilities. Toddlers love the beach and the dune grassland just as much as older children.
I cover Swansea city and the Gower Peninsula plus Neath, Port Talbot, Llanelli, Carmarthen, Bridgend, and the South Wales coast generally. For very special locations like the Brecon Beacons, I'm happy to discuss extended travel. Travel within 25 miles of Swansea is included.
Layers in neutrals, blues, and greens complement the Gower landscape beautifully — sandy limestone, Atlantic water, and green clifftop grass. Avoid strong logos or very bright single colours. Wellies or walking boots for Three Cliffs Bay and clifftop locations. I send a full preparation guide when you book.
