When is the best time for a maternity session at Gower?

Late spring to early summer is exceptional — wildflowers are in full bloom on the dune systems and cliff paths, and sea light is soft and bright. Late summer through early autumn gives the golden evening light that reflects off the Gower limestone and ocean. Three Cliffs Bay in June with wildflowers is particularly beautiful for maternity portraits. Winter on Rhossili and the headlands gives dramatic Atlantic light — raw and powerful.

Can we access Gower Peninsula locations without too much walking?

Three Cliffs Bay involves around a 10-minute walk in from the Southgate car park. Caswell Bay and Oxwich Bay are accessible right from car parks. Mumbles is an easy seafront walk. I plan routes that are practical at any stage of pregnancy — please tell me your comfort level when you get in touch and I'll suggest the most accessible options.

What areas of South Wales do you cover for maternity sessions from Swansea?

I cover Swansea and the surrounding area: Neath, Port Talbot, Llanelli, Carmarthen, Bridgend, Mumbles, Gower, and the South Wales valleys. I can also travel to the Brecon Beacons for wider landscape settings. Travel within 25 miles of Swansea is included.
