When should I book a newborn session in Swansea?+
Ideally at 28–32 weeks of pregnancy. Sessions are planned for the first two weeks after birth when babies sleep most deeply. I hold your provisional booking and confirm the exact date once your baby arrives. Popular months in Swansea fill up fast — booking early in pregnancy gives the most flexibility.
What are Swansea homes like for in-home newborn photography?+
Swansea has a wonderful variety of domestic architecture. Victorian and Edwardian terraces and semis in Uplands, Brynmill, and Sketty tend to have generous bay windows that fill rooms with Atlantic light. Gower-edge properties have wide rural aspects. New-build homes across the city's newer suburbs also work well — I find the best light wherever you are.
How far around Swansea do you travel for newborn sessions?+
I cover Swansea and South Wales including Neath, Port Talbot, Llanelli, Mumbles, the Gower Peninsula, Bridgend, and the Vale of Glamorgan west of Cardiff. I can confirm travel costs for sessions beyond 25 miles from Swansea when you enquire.
Can sessions be in Welsh as well as English?+
Yes — I'm happy to conduct the session entirely in Welsh, entirely in English, or in a mix of both. Many families in Swansea and the Gower are Welsh-speaking and I'm glad to accommodate this preference.
