Photographer Longstanton

Longstanton is a South Cambridgeshire village eight miles north of Cambridge, set within the arc of North Cambridgeshire villages along the fen edge between the A14 and the open flatlands to the north. The village has a fine Norman and Early English church, a traditional green, and easy access to both the Cambridge guided busway greenway and the open fen landscape that begins just north of the village. I photograph families, couples, and portrait commissions across Longstanton and the surrounding villages, working with this varied and accessible north Cambridge countryside.

The appeal of Longstanton as a photography setting is its combination of classic English village character and proximity to Cambridge. For North Cambridge families who want relaxed outdoor portrait sessions within 20 minutes of the city, the village and its surroundings provide everything needed: a peaceful church setting, an informal green, and open countryside — without the crowds that can make Cambridge's own parks and college gardens difficult for relaxed family photography.
